PwC Global Values
Ladbrokes Coral Group plc is a British-based betting and gambling company. It is based in London. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 250 Index, having been relegated from the FTSE 100 Index in June 2006. In 2016, Ladbrokes acquired its rival, Gala Coral Group, and changed its name to Ladbrokes Coral. In December 2017, GVC Holdings agreed to buy Ladbrokes Coral in a deal which could be worth up to £4bn
Struggling to keep up with competitors, Ladbrokes was experiencing flat lining revenues in digital and declining revenues in retail. There was very little overlap between their digital and retail customer face and no concept of a multi-channel experience. They needed to change in order to compete.
Ladbrokes restructured its digital teams and engaged CAF to help the business undergo the changes needed for them to become truly customer centric and deliver a multichannel experience. The Innovation Lab was set up on CAF premises, resourced 50/50 by CAF and Ladbrokes staff tasked with delivering engaging mobile products, specifically aimed at the mobile player, to compete effectively.
" Through the rollout of our products, such as bet slip scanner, acca tracker and the retail companion app - all products developed in the Ladbrokes Innovation Lab at Chelsea Apps Factory - we are leading innovation in retail betting." - Jim Mullen, CEO

Once a user found their desired area of information, they would then be able to either contact the key individual for the service or send the located information to a client's email address. This application was designed to be available on both Android as well as iOS.
"Chelsea Apps Factory has been fantastic at simplifying the process, building on our existing data sources but creating something that's very user-friendly and intuitive." - Mandy Pooler, Director
